The present edition of Practical Homeopathic Therapeutics is devoted to homeopathic prescribing exclusively. The indications for the remedies given are those born of the experience of the foremost prescribers of the homeopathic school of medicine and may therefore, to be considered as trustworthy. Therapeutics progress and new remedies which are homeopathic in genesis and action have been included.
The chapters devoted to diseases of the heart, anemia, appendicitis, mammary diseases, mental diseases, tumors, tuberculosis, enteric conditions and other have been recast and improved and there have been added sections on the therapeutics of adenoids, arteriosclerosis, goitre, prostatic affections, infective conditions, surgical shock and neuritis.
In this edition, a topic has been inserted regarding the vitamin and hormone therapy in relation with homeopathy, in terms of dosage, comparing them briefly to our well known and therapeutically proved tissue remedies. It is believed that study of these will open up new conceptions of the healing art.
