Teachings Psychiatric Patients Pure Classical Homeopathy

How it started:

l realized, while l was in school, that there was a difference between what l could read in modern books - what sometimes is calied modern classics -, what my teacher taught me in school, and what l could read in old Journals. At the school we had a very good library in old homeopathic literature. We had most of the classic American Journals of homeopathy, the Journals that were created and edited by the classics: Dunham, Hering, Lippe, Kent, Farrington, Allen. Today those Journals are basically unavailable to most practitioners, especially in Europe. At the school l went to, we had most of those Journals. At the pause between classes, you would often find me in the library, looking at some of those old Journals. There was a real time and space difference between what we learn today (or what we could read, or the information we could have access to), and what used to be calied the "old guard".

In 1983 l decided to Start a literature search to investigate what in the homeopathic literature - especially in English and French - had been forgotten and l am still doing it. Since then l have spent, on average, ten weeks a year (a week means seven days, of twelve to sixteen hours) in the library. Just retrieving the material, in terms of looking page by page at the important Journals, photo-copying the material, and then classifying it. It is an enormous amount of work that is very difficult to do. You have to travel a lot, you need to visit many different libraries. For instance in North America, you have San Francisco, Portland and Stanford University on the West Coast that are very good, and then you have to go to the East Coast to Boston, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, all those major eitles, to retrieve the material.
