honor to present this Collector's edition of Boericke. It is known to be the
Bible of homeopathy as it is the most widely used materia medica hence
presenting it in the form of Collector's edition was much needed. This edition
is specifically curated for the book shelves of our readers. It is imperative
to state that the last edition was widely appreciated by the homeopathic
fraternity for its in depth analysis, modern terminology, dictionary,
footnotes, font, print and presentation.
Highlights
of the book-
- Use of the
new font and italics accentuate the text and make the contents more
comprehensive.
- Readers
will be delighted to see the insertion of tinctures in this edition as it was
something which was due for a long time along with therapeutic index to some
important mother tinctures.
- Also the
‘Rare and Uncommon Remedies’ section has been removed as a separate section,
but included appropriately along with the related drugs at more relevant
places.
- To
maintain the high standard of the book all abbreviations have been derived from
the ‘Synthesis Repertory 9.1’ in the materia medica and repertory portion.
- The paper
quality used is of an absolute fine quality.

William Boericke
William Boericke was born on October 25, 1849 in Austria. He graduated from the Philadelphia Medical College in 1876 and from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia in 1880. Moving to San Francisco he practiced as a homeopath for over fifty years.
